Bike Cult Show was at the Knockdown Center
August 16th and 17th, 2014

Bike Cult Show started in Brooklyn over the 2013 Labor Day weekend.  Exhibitors included some of the finest artisans of custom hand-crafted bicycles from NYC and elsewhere.  Makers displayed their brand of made-to-order cycling machines, using a variety of materials and methods, where cliches like form vs. function, the genius in the details and 10,000 hours practice surely apply.

The 2014 Bike Cult Show was held at the Knockdown Center in Maspeth, Queens. This 50,000 sq foot facility served as the main exhibition space and satellite events occurred with our partners at the Rapha Cycle Club, The City Reliquary and at the Brooklyn Bike Park.

That the bicycle has come to be so cool is no fault of its own.  The world's most efficient vehicle is not only about self-propelled transport and synergistic fun and freedom, it's also profoundly aesthetic as a personal fashion statement embodied with wheels.
